Humberston Academy

Environmental Club

Some wonderful members of our Environmental Club hard at work during lunchtime today.

Our project this term has been planting daffodil bulbs and preparing the soil to grow carrots in Spring. Research has taken place on the right type of compost and soil to encourage a good crop.

All ideas and projects have been generated by the student body who represent this group.

The plan for summer is to create an area within the environmental garden to encourage wildlife as well as refurbish the Science Garden!
