Parent Information
At Humberston Academy, we believe that it is important to work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the best for all our students.
2020 has proven to be a challenging year for us all. Nevertheless, at Humberston Academy we were still able to celebrate strong outcomes for our incredible students. However, during the pandemic we were also able to demonstrate a different kind of excellence.
Humberston Academy remained open for students who were identified as vulnerable or whose parents or carers were classed as critical workers. We were able to offer a varied curriculum and more importantly keep students safe. Humberston Academy dedicated time to wellbeing calls on a weekly basis in addition to providing online lessons immediately as we entered lockdown.
Staff insisted on remaining open to key students during half term breaks and bank holidays. This demonstrate how incredibly supportive our school was during a period of anxiousness for many families.
We wish to provide any parents with disabilities with information on their child’s progress in a readily accessible and appropriate format. Should you require further information in this respect, please contact the Student Services Team.

Message for Past Students
Humberston Academy is creating a database with our former students to keep in touch with our school leavers. Our alumni can support us in so many ways, from volunteers and in-school speakers to work experience providers and fundraisers.
We are looking for former students to join our network and they can sign up by contacting Reception <office@humberstonacademy.co.uk>
Whether you’re at university, doing an apprenticeship or have been in a variety of jobs for the last 20 years, we would love you to join our alumni network so that we can stay connected and let you know about exciting opportunities we hear about.
There is no obligation to do anything after you’ve signed up but you’ll receive a few updates to let you know what we’re up to here at the school and you’ll also hear about opportunities to get involved if you want to.
If you have any questions, please get in touch with Reception <office@humberstonacademy.co.uk>
Record of Achievement Portfolios
New arrival at Humberston Academy! We often like to celebrate excellence with our students but recognise that some certificates and qualifications sometimes may not get filed. Therefore we are proud to announce that ‘Record of Achievement’ portfolios are now on sale for just £3.
